Abstract
An experimental investigation was made of a laser based on a nonchain reaction of fluorine with hydrogen or deuterium. The chemical reaction was initiated by a volume electric discharge. The necessary condition s for the operation of such a laser at a pulse repetition frequency of 100 Hz were determined. The technical efficiency of the DF laser was found to be 2.5%-3%.
