Abstract
A pulse-periodic laser with an Nd3+:YAlO3 active element was construct ed. A self-pumping phase-conjugating mirror, based on a saturated-gain grating of the active medium, in combination with a stimulated-Brillo uin-scattering mirror, made it possible to generate high-power pulses by Q switching and to maintain the diffraction quality of the beam.
