Abstract
The influence of conditions of hydrothermal synthesis on the dispersit y of silica sols and the texture of corresponding xerogels was studied . The decisive effect of relationship between the dispersity of the pr imary globules of silica gel and forming sol particles on the aggregat ion stability of a silica sol is shown. The conditions of hydrothermal synthesis of silica sols with a given dispersity and the textural par ameters of corresponding xerogels are determined.
