Abstract
A neonate presented to our institution with the physical findings of c oarctation of the aorta. After starting prostaglandin E-1 the signs an d symptoms resolved despite persistent closure of the ductus arteriosu s. We present echocardiographic evidence to support the contention tha t a ductal tissue sling contributes to the formation of juxtaductal co arctation of the aorta.
