Abstract
Plumbagin is a naturally occurring phytochemical with growth retarding , antifeedant and chitin synthesis inhibitory effect on insects. The p resent paper brings out that it affects the intermidiary metabolism of cockroach fat body by changing acid and alkaline phosphatase activity .
