Abstract
A revision of the Afrotropical genus Mimecomutilla Ashmead, 1903 is pr esented; twenty-two species, of which six new species, - bicincta (mal e), auricincta (male), vestita (male female), pillosa (male), sematica (male) and glabrata (female), - have been classified in two subgenera : Mimecotilla, subg. n. (20 species) and Mimecomutilla s. str. (2 spe cies). One additional species is a synonyme. A short zoogeographical a nalysis is added.
