Abstract
We propose a new algorithm that simulates the dynamic response of a pi ezoelectric vibrator. We derived this algorithm by incorporating new t erms corresponding to the electric fields in the conventional finite-d ifference time-domain (FD-TD) method for elastodynamics. The FD-TD met hod, which is widely used to analyze electromagnetic waves or elastody namics, requires less computation than the finite element method (FEM) .
