Abstract
Nonlinear optical properties of CuS and oxidised CuS (R = 5 nm) nanocr ystals were investigated by the method of picosecond absorption spectr oscopy. Oxidation of nanocrystals gave rise to an absorption band in t he region of 1.09 mu m. This band was bleached by excitation with lase r pulses of 15 ps duration. An energy level diagram was proposed for o xidised CuS nanocrystals.
