Abstract
The Intended Group Psychotherapy is strict that method of psychotherap y grown up innately in the GDR. The method got a rich differentiation and developement, inspite of all ideological untoward events, in its c omparatively short history. An immense social regression, concerning t he whole culture, was following after the ''Wende'' Of course psychoth erapy was part of that, too. The ''Abwickeln'' of even senseful public utilities, mostly planed as group psychotherapy, and forcing the ''Ri chtlinien-Psychotherapie'' upon the psychotherapy brought no luck to t he group at all. The institutional frame changed so rapidly that group therapy got into crisis. But many existantial threats, resistances an d problems happened during the history of Intended Dynamic Group Psych otherapy, which always had been understood as requirements and were an swered by theoretical and practical solutions.
