Abstract
Passive matrix displays based on polymer and organic light-emitting di odes (LEDs) suffer from crosstalk, the emission of light from pixels o ther than those selected. This article explores the topic of crosstalk both with an approximate but analytic model and by means of more exac t circuit simulation in order to explain the causes of crosstalk and t o quantify the consequences. We conclude that crosstalk has implicatio ns for display power consumption. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A.
