Abstract
We discuss several approximate methods for computing electromagnetic s cattering by objects of complex shape. Depending on the relative size of the scatterer compared to the incident wavelength, different techni ques have to be designed. We review some of them which are often used in practice, and present numerical results of scattering by complex ob jects.
