Abstract
Characteristics of Holland's (1959, 1985/1992) six personal orientatio ns were determined through construction of a table reporting multiple- domain data (interests, aptitudes, personality traits) collected from a sample of 547 career clients. The resulting table was used to test L owman's (1991) Matrix of expected characteristics across Holland's typ es.
