Abstract
Arthrowallemia anam. gen. nov., characterized by holothallic conidioge nesis, secession randomly schizolytic, and cylindrical, septate, brown conidia emerging from conspicuous unbranched conidiophores, is descri bed and illustrated. The type species, A. formosa sp. nov., was collec ted on unidentified decaying leaves in Cuba. Notes on similar genera a re given.
