Abstract
Pb-207 NMR spectroscopy was Used to investigate the nature of aryllead (IV) tricarboxylate species in Pb-207 chemical shifts of p-Br- and p-M eO-aryllead tricarboxylates were found to depend on both electronic (a s measured by the pK(a) of the parent acid) and steric effects of the neighbouring carboxylic acid ligands.
