Abstract
A commercial database and personal computer mere used to record releva nt information On Outbreaks of hospital infection associated with meth icillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The data were easily s tored, amended and retrieved, and there was sufficient flexibility and capacity within the data fields to allow day-to-day monitoring of he outbreak.
