Abstract
There has been an increase in the use of fetal ultrasound in the first trimester over the last few years. This paper will review the publish ed literature on first trimester ultrasound Screening programmes for b oth aneuploidy and fetal structural abnormalities. (C) 1997 by John Wi ley & Sons, Ltd.
