Abstract
The crystal structure of the title compound, C13H18N6O, reveals that f or such a species to act as a tetradentate ligand, significant rearran gement is required, as evidenced by the dihedral angle [67.5 (1)degree s] between the two imidazole rings which results in a large separation of 7.256 (4) Angstrom between the N donor atoms of these rings.
