Abstract
A mathematical model for the flow of a liquid over the surface of an a rbitrarily shaped porous body in the presence of filtration is develop ed Problems of gravitational flow and entrainment of liquid by a movin g surface are studied. Calculations are made for the flow of a liquid over the surface of the cake formed in a drum vacuum filter.
