Abstract
The COSMOLEP project was proposed as an experiment to look for coincid ences between the four LEP detectors, caused by cosmic ray events larg er than conventional extensive air showers. Currently a pilot experime nt is in operation, which is using the ALEPH hadron calorimeter and se veral scintillator arrays in and near the ALEPH cavern.
