Abstract
The results of two-dimensional numerical simulation of positive stream er dynamics in flue gases in sphere-plane electrode configuration are presented. The G-values (numbers of radicals produced per 100 eV of in put electrical energy) for the production of chemically active particl es participating in flue gas cleaning from toxic components are calcul ated, Obtained G-values are almost independent on the discharge condit ions, Simple estimates for G-values, based on analytical streamer theo ry, are shown to agree with the results of numerical simulation.
