In a previous paper of ours we published a method of finding the time
variation of the resistance and inductance in a discharge.(1) Accordin
g to that method the current waveform is elaborated and is used in the
integrodifferential equation of the circuit. Mathematically, this pro
blem gives many solutions. The physical restrictions of this particula
r phenomenon, however, permit the determination of these quantities in
a unique way.
