Abstract
A new numerical approach for solving warping torsion problems is propo sed. The approach uses the differential quadrature element method (DQE M) to discretize the differential equations defined on each element. T he resulting overall discrete equations can be solved using the solver s of the linear algebra. Numerical results of the DQEM warping torsion model are presented.
