Abstract
Multimode polymeric waveguide devices with PMMA substrates, large core (0.25-2mm(2)) styrene/acrylonitril copolymer waveguides ana PMMA supe rstrates have been fabricated by injection moulding. Waveguide lasses of 0.15-0.3dB/cm have been measured in the 600-1100nm wavelength range , The stability of the devices has been tested by temperature cycling between -40 degrees C and +75 degrees C.
