Abstract
A printed antenna consisting of an annular ring coupled to a shorted p atch is presented. The size of the antenna is compatible with typical mobile communications handset terminals and its impedance bandwidth sa tisfies the requirements for such systems as broadband personal commun ications systems (PCS).
