Abstract
An electromagnetic micro-generator is described, based on a planar pic k-up coil and flexible polyimide membrane of diameter 2 mm with attach ed magnet. During large amplitudes of vibration of the device, the mem brane displacement characteristics become nonlinear due to the spring stiffening effect, limiting the maximum generated power to 0.3 mu W.
