Abstract
Cyclosporine is widely known to be effective in cases involving both t ransplantation as well as a spectrum of immune-mediated diseases, alth ough careful monitoring is required for the preemptive detection of it s adverse effects. Here we report the successful treatment by extremel y low dose cyclosporine (1 mg/kg per day) of two patients with thrombo cytopenia in systemic lupus erythematosus.
