The Image Directory is un online catalogue of information about art im ages unifying data from many soul aes into an easily searchable format . It breaks new ground in its aim to provide record-level access to th e vast body of scholarly, brit non-standardised, data on images that r esides in the libraries, galleries and museums of the world.
