Abstract
A novel method for the synthesis of arrays in the presence of conducti ng scatterers is presented. This method includes and takes advantage o f the radiation of the scatterer by using the generalised multipole te chnique. Thus, the optimum solution can be obtained for an array in th e presence of a conducting obstacle.
