Abstract
This report demonstrates that South Asians living in North America hav e elevated levels of Lp(a) compared with North American whites. Elevat ed Lp(a) levels may account, in part, for the tendency of South Asians to develop premature coronary heart disease (CHD). Copyright (C) 1998 by W.B. Saunders Company.
