Abstract
The potentiation of the anticoagulant effects of warfarin by miconazol e, when used in oral gel form, is described in three patients. The ass ociated morbidity is examined, emphasising the importance of consideri ng this potentially serious interaction when prescribing antifungal ag ents to patients on oral anticoagulants.
