Abstract
Binuclear complexes of the type CuML2 (M = Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II); L = the dianion of the Schiff base obtained by condensation of 5-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-sulfonamide with 2-ketoglutaric acid) wer e prepared and characterised by standard procedures. All these derivat ives possess good inhibitory properties towards the zinc enzyme carbon ic anhydrase.
