Abstract
This paper presents a new technique for predistorting high-pass protot ype filter networks to compensate for the dissipative losses in reacti ve elements. The method is based upon circuit transformations of a con ventional predistorted low-pass prototype network. The resultant netwo rks require additional resistors in addition to the lossy resonators. A design example of a fourth degree Chebyshev bandstop filter is prese nted. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
