Abstract
A single electroabsorption modulator was used to simultaneously demult iplex two 10 Gbit/s channels from a 40Gbit/s OTDM data stream. Error-f ree operation was observed, and the effects of incoherent interference between the demultiplexed channel and residual facet reflections inve stigated.
