Abstract
The lower natural frequencies of normal modes of transverse vibration of circular annular plates with a free inner edge while the outer boun dary is either-simply supported or clamped ave determined. It is hoped that present results will be useful to mechanical designers since the eigenvalues already available in the technical literature are rather inaccurate in some instances.
