Abstract
Two new results are presented for intersymbol interference in raised-c osine filtered communication over an additive white Gaussian noise cha nnel: the interference due to roll-off factor mismatch is negligibly s mall, and a reasonably accurate approximation formula for the bit erro r probability is derived for matched roll-off factors.
