Abstract
A new circuit block with a stair-shaped I-V curve is described. The pr oposed circuli is based on a novel configuration of three cascode bran ches. Furthermore, a four-level quantising inverter and four-level lat ch utilising the proposed circuit are also presented. Unlike previous work, these designs are compatible with standard CMOS technology.
