A novel algorithm for adjusting the array coefficients of a space time
array is introduced, which works in parallel and gives higher output
signal-to-noise ratios than conventional approaches. It requires only
the inversion of one correlation matrix with a size equal to the numbe
r of antenna elements M, independent of the number of temporal stages
R. Its computational complexity is therefore O{M-3} instead of the O{(
MR)(3)} for the conventional approach.
