Abstract
A global electromagnetic analysis of microstrip agile antennas is pres ented. The analysis developed is based on the integral equation techni que associated with a numerical treatment of lumped elements, which en ables the actual size of the varactor diodes to be taken into account. The agreement between theoretical and experimental results clearly sh ows the capabilities of this approach to predict the agility phenomeno n.
