Abstract
The synthesis of novel mammalian metabolites of dietary isoflavones, d ihydrodaidzein (4',7-dihydroxyisoflavanone) 7,(2) dihydrogenistein (4' ,5,7-trihydroxyisoflavanone) 9, 6'-hydroxy-O-demethylangolensin trihyd roxyphenyl)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propan-1-one] 10, and cis- and trans-4' ,7-dihydroxyisoflavan-4-ols II, 12 is described, and their characteris tics by physical and chemical constants given for the first time.
