Abstract
Let R(Gamma, G) be the variety of representations of a finitely genera ted group Gamma in a simple complex algebraic group G. We establish so me sufficient conditions for the image of the diagonal representation rho = (rho(1),...,rho(t)), rho(i) is an element of R(Gamma, G'), to be dense in G(t) in the complex topology (''weak approximation'').
