Vi. Bolshakov et al., STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF HEAT-TREATABLE STEELS FOR METALLIC CONSTRUCTIONS, Metal science and heat treatment, 39(7-8), 1997, pp. 328-333
In order to substantiate the choice of the temperature of heat or comb
ined treatment with the use of rolling heat or with individual heating
, it is expedient to determine the temperature dependence of the grain
size of the steel. The present work concerns the effect of the temper
ature of heating for rolling on the structure and properties of low-ca
rbon (VSt3ps) and low-alloy (09G2S, 09G2FB, 16G2AF, 15G2AFDps, 14Kh2GM
R) building steels. In order to bring the structure of the specimens i
nto correspondence with the structure of slabs slowly cooled in air af
ter rolling the ingots under the conditions of a metallurgical plant,
the preforms were subjected to a preparatory heat treatment. The tempe
rature dependences of the grain size of austenite and the mechanical p
roperties of the steels are presented.
