Highly oriented poly(p-phenylenevinylene) (PPV), doped with sulfuric a
cid (H2SO4), reaches a conductivity of 10(4) S/cm in the chain directi
on, which drops only with a factor of 1.1-1.3 at low temperatures. The
low temperature transport exhibits features such as a positive temper
ature coefficient of resistivity and positive magnetoconductance which
are explained with the localization-interaction model for disordered
metals.
