Abstract
Electron spin susceptibility and ESR linewidth measurements were perfo rmed to study the electronic state in an unstretched film of Poly(para phenylene vinylene). Pauli-like susceptibility is observed above 50 K and Curie-like one below 50 K. Spin carrier diffusion rates are estima ted and found to be remarkably anisotropic. The present observations a re consistently understood provided that the charged carriers are in l ocalized states because of disorder.
