Abstract
Glycolipid membrane domains have been suggested to have a number of ph ysiological functions, but do they actually exist in vivo or are they artefacts of extraction procedures? Recent data go some way towards sh owing that such glycolipid domains really are present within both mode l and cellular membranes. (C) Current Biology Ltd.
