The developed ''Diadem-1'' process enables one to quickly apply phosph
ate coating on steel parts from a low-temperature bath. Being put in p
ractice, the process consumed 3-5 times less power, materials, and lab
or and by half increased the corrosion resistance of the manufactured
consumer goods, as compared to traditional processes of applying phosp
hate and oxide coatings. The strong adhesion of EP-140, ML-12, and EP-
1236 enamels to the phosphated surface was ensured and high-quality we
lding of phosphated workpieces was possible.
