Abstract
A highly sensitive procedure for determination of acidity of mineral a nd synthetic oils was developed. It is based on back titration of spec ified amounts of alkali with a sample under analysis to a specified pH (reference-point procedure). Advantages and disadvantages of the proc edure are discussed.
