Abstract
A nonlinear model of the ring oscillator is proposed, The oscillations are related to the irregularity or the kink-formed solitary wave, tha t is, an elementary phenomenon in a nonlinear system, According to the proposed model, we found that the higher harmonic generation cannot e xist when the total number of stages is five or less.
