Abstract
When privatization on the stock market is on the way, forgone revenues to the Treasury are much smaller by selling in tranches than by selli ng at one go. Criticism of the privatization policy for selling firms at one go is shown to be right in the Light of evidence analyzed in th is paper. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A.
