Abstract
This is the second part of a revision of the genus Basiria Siddiqi, 19 59; it deals with the taxonomy of the species with four lateral lines and an anterior oesophageal median bulb. Type material of nine species of the genus and populations of several species from Iran, China, Vie tnam, and Australia were examined by light microscopy. The following s pecies are synonymized: B. conura, B. obliqua with B. duplexa, B. citr i with B. berylla. and B. paratumida with B. tumida. B. ritteri is a n ew record for China and Vietnam, and B. berylla for Iran.
