Abstract
This is the third part of a revision of the genus Basiria Siddiqi, 195 9 and deals with the taxonomy of species possessing four lateral lines and a postericr oesophageal median bulb. Type material of six species of the genus and populations of B. aberrans and B. graminophila from Iran and USA were studied. Species closely related to B. graminophila are discussed and among then?. the following species are synonymized: B. asaraensis, B. bajorensis, B. incita, B. nasikensis, and B. pakhi. B. aberrans is a new record for Iran.
